Fufa has taken to it’s official Twitter account to communicate the unfortunate decision that has been caused by the pandemic.
The director has also gone ahead to clarify that the event will not be hosted in Uganda this year but will await the next opportunity avialed to to the country.
Federation of Uganda Football Association has blamed the wholebsituation on covid 19 uncertainties and the frequently washed beaches of lake Victoria as a result of flooding in East Africa.
FUFA adds that the federation has failed to get an alternative venue for the event.
The last beach soccer event was hosted in 2018 in Egypt.
